To qualify, your business must be based in Wales, actively trading and solvent, and committed to releasing staff to complete training by March 2024. The training should clearly enhance your team’s abilities and improve your organisation’s capacity.
For example, funding could support training in ICT skills, leadership development, or people management — helping your workforce gain the expertise needed to grow.
Final funding decisions are made at the discretion of the Welsh Government.
What are the Next Steps and Expression of Interest?:
If you think you are eligible and are interested in applying for this funding, you should go through the Business Wales Expression of Interest form and one of their Skills team will respond as soon as possible and no later than 10 working days.
You can also contact us if you are interested in undertaking any of our training using this funding. To do so you can call 07514915188, or email info@nine-training.com

Businesses of all sizes and sectors can benefit from the Apprenticeships Programme. Most training is delivered by employers in partnership with an approved training provider, who will support you throughout the process.
Employers are responsible for paying the apprentice’s salary and any additional training costs, while core training costs are funded through the Welsh Government’s Apprenticeships Programme. It’s important to connect with a training provider early on — they’ll offer guidance and help you get started.
Incentives
To encourage the recruitment of disabled apprentices, employers can access incentive payments until 31 March 2024:
Incentives are not available for zero-hours contracts, shared apprenticeship models, or if a disability is identified after recruitment.
All incentive applications are made through your training provider.
